Deaf Centre Meeting Facilities

The Deaf Centre is situated on Railway Road in the town centre of Kings Lynn. The bus station and the railway station are located nearby giving easy access to the Deaf Centre.

Although the Deaf Centre does not have parking facilities there are car parks close by.

We have two rooms available for hire, one on the ground floor, the other on the first floor.

The Ground Floor

Picture of ground floor meeting roomThe ground floor meeting room covers 751sq.ft. and can accommodate approximately 50 people.

Furniture in the room is not fixed down so the room can be laid out to suit individual needs.

Facilities in the room are; Whiteboard, flipchart, TV and video, OHP screen (OHP is available), a loop system for hard of hearing people and refreshment amenities.

There is a refreshment bar situated in the meeting room which is also accessed from the kitchen. Alcohol cannot be sold on the premises. The ground floor meeting room is wheelchair accessible including the toilet.

The First Floor

Picture of first floor meeting roomThe first floor meeting room covers 1,004 sq.ft. and accommodates approximately 75 people.

Facilities are; Whiteboard, flipchart, OHP screen (OHP is available), loop system accessibility.

Furniture in the room is not fixed down so the room can be laid out to suit individual needs.

There is no lift to the first floor at present.

The Centre, situated in the centre of King's Lynn, is an ideal venue for courses and meetings. Our meeting rooms are available at very reasonable prices;

£8.00 per hour for charities and non-profit groups

£10.00 per hour for all other organisations

The Deaf Association’s offices are found on the Ground floor. Office hours are Mon—Fri 9:30am to 3:30pm.
