Room Hire & Conference Facilities

West Norfolk Deaf Association is proud to offer its fully refurbished suites for hire.

Rooms available include:

  • Main Ground Floor Meeting Room (limited to 60 persons)
  • First Floor Conference Style Meeting Room (comfortably seat 10 persons)
  • Playroom/Meeting Room (limited to 60 persons)
  • Office / Meeting room


The Deaf Centre is fully accessible to all disabled people.

Entry doors are automatic and a lift is available.

Accessible toilets are located on both floors.  The ground floor toilet provides a height adjustable adult-sized changing bench and hoist system whilst the first floor toilet has a baby changing bed.

The first floor play room and ground floor meeting room are both fitted with loop systems for deaf and hard of hearing people. The first floor playroom also benefits from a Soundfield system to provide even sound coverage and improved acoustics.

Main Meeting Room

Situated on the ground floor this room is the largest in the building. It will hold a capacity of 40 to 50 people comfortably when seated. 

This room contains tables, chairs, fixed whiteboard, projector screen and a loop system for those with hearing loss.  Wifi, projector, flip charts and display boards are available at no extra cost.

First Floor Meeting Room / Office

Suitable for smaller group meetings with up to 5 people, interviews or for office space. This room provides one computer with internet access, and one workstation. The first floor is accessible via stairs or lift.

First Floor Conference Style Meeting Room

ICT Suite

Situated on the first floor this meeting room is accessible via stairs or lift.

This room contains conference style table and chairs.  Wifi, flipchart, projector and screen is available at no extra cost.

Playroom/Meeting Room

Our bright, multi-sensory playroom appeals to children of all ages. It contains:


  • Soft-seating/lounge area
  • Wet play area
  • Soundfield system
  • Room loop
  • TV/DVD player
  • Wii console and various Wii games
  • CD Player with iPod docking station
  • Sensory equipment
  • Toys, books and games galore!

This room can hold up to 30 children with accompanying adults. The room is accessed via stairs or lift.

This room can be set up with desks and chairs to accomodate meetings or training sessions. Wifi, flipcharts, projector and screen is available at no extra cost.

Additional Information

Room hire includes the use of the kitchens, downstairs kitchen is equipped with a full-sized oven and hob, microwave and refrigerator.

Hirers are welcome to bring their own refreshments. Alternatively WNDA can arrange refreshments and/or buffet lunches at an additional cost.

Free car parking is available for room hirers at the rear of the building for up to 10 cars (depending on availability).
