We provide a range of training courses and workshops, all designed to help improve communication with, and for, those living with hearing loss.

All courses are run by certified professionals, and come with a recognised certification or qualification upon completion.

BSL Taster Session

Learn about Deaf culture, how to introduce yourself, and fingerspell your name at our fun & informal taster session.

Delivered by an experienced, qualified tutor, this is the perfect session for anyone who has ever considered learning BSL.

Introduction to BSL
Intro to BSL - Mon 7th February at 3pm. Learn BSL over 8 weeks with our accredited course.

Location: The Deaf Centre, 32 Railway Road, Kings Lynn

Price: £80

An 8 week course designed to teach basic language skills in order to communicate simple conversations with Deaf people.

British Sign Language - Level 1
BSL Level 1 - Mon 7th February. Increase vocabulary & BSL language skills

Date: Monday 7th February

Time: 6pm - 8:30pm

Duration: 32 week course

Location: The Deaf Centre, 32 Railway Road, Kings Lynn

Price: £390

Take your British Sign Language knowledge and understanding to the next level.

These classes will teach you the next steps of British Sign Language, improving your vocabulary and conversational skills.

The course is directed by a qualified BSL user, and upon completion you will receive a certificate and nationally recognised qualification.

Lipreading Class

Lipreading is the art of understanding speech using movements of the lips and face, and it can dramatically improve the self-confidence & communication skills of those with hearing difficulties.

These weekly sessions are designed to help you make the most of your hearing - You will learn how to lipread with other people facing similar issues, and by the end will be able to better understand conversations.

A course designed to raise awareness of the deaf community and those with hearing loss, to ensure all services are as accessible as possible.
Suitable for individuals, organisations, schools or groups, this course is ideal for anyone wanting to improve their service offerings, understanding, and increase awareness.

This course can also be booked as a private session for organisations, schools, or groups and can take place at your chosen location.
